"The
goal of coaching is the goal of good management: to make the
most of an organization's valuable resources."
- Harvard Business Review
Coaching
skills training is the single most powerful way to train managers
and leaders in the fundamental competencies proven in research
to impact high performance.
Over the last decade, more than 11,000 coaches, leaders, managers,
trainers and consultants have developed coaching skills and
leadership competencies by attending the Co-Active programs
designed by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
CTI's
founders were in an early collaboration that dates back to the
very beginning of coaching as an industry. CTI’s
“Co-Active Coaching” Model grew out of coaching
senior executives in the workplace 14 years ago. The roots of
Co-Active Coaching have always been in the application of how
coaching skills can be used to release the best in the people
around us and to enhance their performance at work.
CTI has experience working with a broad variety
of organizations--from large corporations to small businesses.
Join the many companies who have experienced the impact Co-Active
Coaching can have on a corporate environment.
CTI has provided Co-Active Coaching Skills
training to a host of organizations including IBM, Cap Gemini
Ernst and Young, Prudential UK, Marriott International, Herman
Miller, Boeing and The Walt Disney Company.
"Co-Active coaching changes who people are at work...and
gives them the pragmatic skills needed to create value alignment
and high performance." Don Semmler, Senior Vice President,
Southeast Region Marriott International, Inc.
CTI’s
GENESIS .....
Over
the last decade, more than 11,000 coaches, leaders, managers,
trainers and consultants have developed coaching and leadership
competencies by attending CTI’s Programs
either through our open courses, or through privately held
customized internal trainings.
CTI's founders were in an early collaboration
that dates back to the very beginning of coaching as an industry.
CTI’s “Co-Active Coaching”
Model grew out of coaching senior executives in the workplace
14 years ago. The roots of Co-Active Coaching have always
been in the application of how coaching skills can be used
to release the best in the people around us and to enhance
their performance at work.
As a leading-edge school of coaching, our founders' involvement
with the coaching industry and ICF from its
very inception has resulted in a significant influence on
the industry, including much of the framework adapted by the
ICF to represent coaching competencies. Indeed,
CTI became the very first organization to
be accredited by the International Coach Federation ICF
(www.coachfederation.org).
Our
training programs have been held primarily in person because
we believe that participants must experience a rigorous and
challenging personal experience with a great deal of real
and hands on practice, which is only possible in person. We
also conduct all our workshops with two co-leaders and a small
class size, to ensure the personal attention and individualization
of the experience.
The enthusiasm and ensuing positive word of mouth of our graduates
has enabled us to become one of the largest coach training
organizations in the world. No matter where you are in the
world, the standard of training is consistent and exemplary.
We have the largest, most highly trained faculty of course
leaders based across Europe, USA and Japan, providing a consistent,
unmatched high standard wherever they deliver the program
– be it UK, Europe, Asia, Middle East or the Americas.
All leaders are professional Certified Coaches as well as
highly experienced course leaders. We believe our industry
is still only in its infancy and that huge opportunities for
significant impact on our world are still ahead.
What
makes us different….
- CTI's coaching curriculum is
designed to integrate Co-Active coaching competencies deeply
in your being rather than in your head, so that you can
be responsive in the moment to any situation you find yourself
in.
- Throughout our history, what
has differentiated us is a belief that both the being and
doing of coaching are equally important and a stubborn refusal
to offer shortcut, cookie-cutter menus and techniques for
"doing" coaching.
What
do we mean by that?…
- Being involves clarity of intention,
beliefs, vision, calling, motivation, and inspiration. It
requires being truly present both with yourself and others,
and noticing the rich unspoken information "between
the lines" and in the space.
- Doing includes techniques, processes,
and actions.
- Once you are consciously aware
of and choosing who you are being, your doing has much greater
impact. At CTI we enable you to harness the power that comes
from integrating the two.
